Job Overview
We are seeking a Delivery Manager to own delivery performance across multiple teams and concurrent initiatives within a growing organization.
This role operates above individual projects, ensuring delivery commitments are realistic, predictable, and sustainable — balancing product ambition with execution capacity. The focus is on delivery capability, dependency management, and execution discipline across a defined domain or platform area.
Key Responsibilities
1. Delivery Ownership & Predictability
Own delivery outcomes across multiple teams and initiatives
Ensure commitments are based on validated capacity, dependency readiness, and quality standard
Identify and manage systemic risks (cross-team dependencies, QA bottlenecks, release constraints)
Improve predictability through structured planning, forecasting, and continuous refinement
2. Delivery Authority & Decision Rights
Act as delivery authority for assigned domains/platforms
Challenge or block roadmap commitments that exceed capacity or introduce unacceptable risk
Drive re-prioritisation discussions by articulating clear trade-offs and constraints
Validate delivery timelines with Senior Project Managers
Hold decision authority on delivery readiness and release commitment
4. Product & Stakeholder Alignment
Partner with Product leadership to align roadmap ambition with execution feasibility
Ensure delivery implications are understood before commitments are made
Escalate conflicts with clear options and impact analysis
5. People Leadership & Delivery Capability
Lead and develop Delivery Managers / Project Managers within the domain
Raise delivery maturity through coaching, standards, and accountability
Foster a culture of ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement
Required Qualifications
5+ years in Delivery Management, Program Management, or senior Project Management
Experience managing multiple teams in complex delivery environments
Strong background in software delivery within large or scaling organizations
Experience leading and developing delivery professionals
Practical knowledge of Agile and hybrid delivery models
Strong communication skills across technical and executive audiences
