Job Overview
We are looking for a Backend Developer to design and optimize high-performance, scalable web applications.
You will work closely with Product to build reliable, low-latency systems, leveraging strong expertise in Java, system design, databases, and distributed systems.

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications aligned with business goals
Architect high-performance systems with a focus on scalability and efficiency
Implement unit and integration testing to ensure reliability
Collaborate with Product to translate requirements into technical solutions
Contribute to incident management and post-mortem analysis
Continuously improve system performance and architecture

Technical Requirements

1. Core Experience
4+ years of backend development experience
Strong Java expertise (experience with Smartfox Server or Photon Server is a plus)

2. Databases & Performance
Experience with MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, NoSQL databases
Strong database optimization skills (indexing, partitioning, sharding)
Experience with large-scale and distributed database architectures
Cloud-based distributed database management experience

3. Architecture & Messaging
Microservices design and implementation
Messaging systems: RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Kafka
Experience with streaming data architectures and real-time/low-latency systems

4. Frameworks & Tools
Spring Boot, Hibernate, WebSocket
AWS, Docker
Proficient in Java, Golang, and SQL

5. Additional Strengths
Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design
Experience optimizing concurrent programming
Independent problem solver who enjoys exploring new domains
